Career Opportunity: Smiths RV has an exciting opportunity for a sales consultant reporting to the sales manager. The successful candidate will achieve targeted and agreed upon sales goals (volume and margin) - to get new and repeat clients in ways that generate the income needed for a healthy department and company. They are responsible to build and maintain positive customer relationships- to strengthen customer loyalty and dealer reputation. Continually improves personal selling capabilities - in order to respond to customer needs in a more effective manner.
Key responsibilities: Effectively follows a successful Sales process, including the timely completion of all paperwork, that ensures the customer has an excellent buying experience Monitors agreed upon sales goals and manages/prioritizes work to achieve progress towards yearly, monthly, weekly and daily goals against key performance indicators Actively identifies, seeks, and obtains new prospects in ways that lead to increased sales Maintains and enhances ongoing customer relationships through timely follow-up communications that lead to repeat business per company policy (this includes in-process, current and past customers) Proactively supports and works with other employees, departments and locations to give the customer a seamless experience in ways that promote teamwork Shares, mentors, encourages and acknowledges other salespeople and departments in meeting the needs of all stakeholder groups Continuously learns and applies new and previously learned selling skills, strategies and techniques on a daily, monthly and yearly basis Develops and maintains a high level of product, market and industry knowledge
